Good day,
My name is Kai Aoki, I am a Junior at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and am majoring in PGA Golf Management. I am originally from Seattle, Washington and am 20 years of age. I have been playing golf for the last eight years and golf in essence, is my life.
I have worked in the golf industry for the last several years. Prior to moving to Las Vegas for school I worked at a golf shop in Seattle as a sales person, club fitter and merchandiser. My major requires me to complete 15 months of internship before I graduate. This includes three, three month internships and a six month internship. My first internship took to The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. At The Broadmoor I was a guest services attendant and tournament coordinator. The Broadmoor also hosted the 2008 US Senior Open, which I was fortunate enough to be a part of. This summer I went back to Seattle and worked at the Golf Club at Newcastle, in which I was a golf shop supervisor and golf clinic instructor. My career goals would be to work for a course or resort in europe as wither a general manager or director of golf.
In my spare time I enjoy playing golf and relaxing with my friends, going to the movies, going at to dinner and relaxing by the pool.
